To prevent the spread of Avian Flu to domestic birds such as chickens and turkeys, it is necessary to discourage aquatic birds from congregating near farming operations that house these birds. The use of Avian Migrate® Goose and Bird Repellent, along with InvisiDye® UV Marker can dramatically reduce the opportunity for infected aquatic birds to transmit the virus to domestic birds. Avian Migrate® Goose and Bird Repellent is an EPA registered non-lethal bio pesticide that has proven highly effective in repelling all birds, including aquatic birds. It discourages birds from congregating in fields and around buildings. Simply spray as directed and the effects are immediate and long lasting.
Avian InvisiDye® UV Marker is a non-lethal training tool that, when teamed with Avian Migrate® Goose and Bird Repellent, teaches geese and birds to avoid treated grass, plants and landscaping. The UV marker works by coloring the treated area with a stain, visible only to birds in the 200-400 mm ultraviolet light spectrum, that allows geese and birds to immediately associate the repellent effects of the Avian Migrate® product with the color of the stained area.

According to the United States Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the primary host and vector for the spread of Bird Flu is through shedding of the virus from the saliva, nasal secretions, and feces of infected aquatic birds such as ducks, geese, swans, gulls, terns, storks, plovers and sandpipers.
