Product Application Guides
Avian Control repels a wide range of nuisance birds from crops, turf, and structures without causing harm. All ingredients are Generally Regarded As Safe (GRAS) by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and are non-toxic to birds, people and pets.

- Measure out the Avian Control and liquid dish soap.
- Mix Avian Control and liquid dish soap together in a small container first — this helps them blend smoothly.
- Pour the mixture into your sprayer.
- Fill the sprayer the rest of the way with clean water.
- Gently shake or stir to combine before spraying.
- Apply in a fine mist so plants look damp but not dripping. Runoff wastes product and reduces effectiveness.
- Walk slowly and spray in overlapping passes, similar to mowing your lawn.
- Pay special attention to areas where birds feed or roost most often (lawns, gardens, patios, rooftops).
- Avoid direct spray on houses, cabins, sheds, or fences. The product may leave dark marks. Always test on a hidden corner before treating larger areas.
- Don’t spray bird baths, feeders, or decorative ponds.
- Start with weekly applications until birds stop returning.
- Once birds are trained to avoid the area, you may only need to spray every 2–4 weeks for maintenance.
- Reapply sooner after heavy rain, as water can wash the product off.

- Measure out the Avian Control.
- If required, add surfactant (recommended if your sprayer does not agitate).
- Pre-mix in a small container for smooth blending.
- Pour into the sprayer tank and fill with clean water.
- Agitate before and during spraying.
- Adjust nozzles for a fine mist, not heavy droplets.
- Compatible with pump, electric, tractor-mounted, or aerial sprayers.
- Spray in overlapping passes for uniform coverage.
- Focus on crops, feed areas, barns, and other bird congregation sites.
- Avoid overspray on homes, cabins, or equipment — if needed, apply a light mist and always test a small area first.
- Do not spray livestock troughs, bird baths, or decorative ponds.
- Reapply every 7–10 days especially after rain or irrigation.
- Maintain consistent treatment until bird pressure decreases.
Avian Migrate gently irritates birds’ taste buds and contains a special colorant that only birds can see under UV light. This combination makes the treated grass look and taste unpleasant to them, so they quickly learn to avoid those areas. Optionally, InvisiDye® UV can be added to enhance visibility for birds while remaining invisible to people, helping to reinforce treated areas and improve effectiveness.

- Shake the container of Avian Migrate well before use.
- Measure out the Avian Migrate.
- Pour Avian Migrate into your sprayer, then fill the rest with water.
- Optionally, add InvisiDye® UV at a ratio of 0.25oz per gallon of water.
- Gently shake or stir to mix before spraying.
